ServiceTitan Names Abhishek "Abhi" Mathur Chief Technology and Product Officer
ServiceTitan (Nasdaq: TTAN) has appointed Abhishek "Abhi" Mathur as Chief Technology and Product Officer. With more than two decades leading engineering and product at Figma, Meta, and Microsoft, Mathur will push an AI-first product strategy built for the trades.
Announced March 12, 2026, the move signals ServiceTitan's intent to build what leadership calls an "AI operating system for the trades." Mathur will oversee Product, Design, and R&D, with AI as the top priority.
"The hardworking men and women of the trades deserve advanced, purpose-built technology to run their businesses, and in this new era, we believe those products must be powered by AI to truly meet their needs," said Vahe Kuzoyan, President and Co-Founder of ServiceTitan. "Abhi joins us at a pivotal moment for both the trades and the technology industries. He understands how high the stakes are for our customers, and his deep expertise in AI and experience building high scale systems will be instrumental as we build the AI operating system for the trades."
"I have always been driven by the mission of building products that unlock human potential, and that is exactly what ServiceTitan is doing for the trades," said Abhishek Mathur, CTPO of ServiceTitan. "What Ara and Vahe have built is inspiring. We have a significant opportunity to elevate this industry by building an intelligent, AI-driven service ecosystem, where interactions can feed a continuous loop that improves quality and trust for contractors and homeowners alike. I am honored to join this team and hit the ground running to build the future of the trades."
Why this matters for product teams
If you build software for complex, real-world operations, this is a clear signal: AI moves from add-on to operating principle. The mandate is to turn field and back-office workflows into intelligent, measurable systems that compound over time.
- AI-first roadmap: prioritize high-frequency, high-cost jobs-to-be-done (dispatch, quoting, invoicing, scheduling) for embedded assist and automation.
- Continuous loops: use interaction data to improve models, recommendations, and routing-faster learning cycles, less manual rework.
- Scale and reliability: invest in evaluation, latency budgets, fallbacks, and guardrails that hold up during peak demand.
- Trust and outcomes: design for human oversight on sensitive actions and optimize for concrete KPIs-time-to-dispatch, conversion rate, first-time fix, and NPS.
What Mathur brings
At Figma, Mathur served as SVP of Software Engineering, helping drive the shift to an AI-driven organization across AI research, core infrastructure, and products like Figma Make and Figma AI. The focus: shipping useful AI while keeping quality and performance tight.
Before Figma, he spent nearly eight years at Meta leading video and live platforms for Facebook and Instagram. Earlier, he spent over a decade at Microsoft contributing to Azure, Office 365, and Visual Studio/.NET.
Near-term focus at ServiceTitan
Mathur's immediate priorities include accelerating AI integration across core workflows. The company is also expanding enterprise capabilities and its AI-powered Pro Products, already used by thousands of contractors to automate back-office operations and drive growth.
- Embed AI assistance in scheduling, dispatch, quoting, and invoicing to reduce cycle time and errors.
- Unify data pipelines and event streams to tighten predictions, recommendations, and routing.
- Ship human-in-the-loop review for sensitive actions (pricing, approvals, compliance-critical steps).
- Measure impact with clear baselines and ongoing evals-latency, handle time, conversion, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Signals to watch
- Cadence of AI feature releases across core modules and Pro Products.
- Reliability and latency improvements in field operations.
- Depth of enterprise features and ecosystem integrations.
