Setia Launches AI & PropTech Innovation Challenge to Transform Homeownership and Construction Quality
Malaysia’s property developer S P Setia Berhad has teamed up with Antler Ibex, the innovation arm of early-stage investor Antler, to introduce the Setia AI & PropTech Innovation Challenge. This initiative is part of the Bengkel Inovasi GLC (BIG) Program and targets two critical goals: expanding inclusive homeownership and enhancing construction quality.
Aligned with the Malaysia MADANI agenda, the challenge focuses on making homeownership accessible to all segments of society. By adopting artificial intelligence (AI), Setia aims to simplify the homebuying process, making it more efficient and approachable for potential homeowners regardless of their financial background.

Setia’s leadership sees AI and technology as essential tools to shape the future of housing and construction. "Through the Setia AI & PropTech Innovation Challenge, we are fostering innovation and collaboration to create inclusive, quality housing that meets the needs of all Malaysians,” said Choong Kai Wai, President and CEO of Setia.
The challenge invites startups with AI and property technology (proptech) solutions that support the MADANI and BIG agendas. Selected participants will work closely with Setia, gaining mentorship, resources, and possible investment to develop their ideas into viable solutions.
