SHIFT Communications Takes on Four AI Companies for Growth-Stage PR

SHIFT Communications has added Leia Inc., Symbotic, Signifyd, and Exol to its client roster. The Boston-based PR agency will run Performance Communications programs for the four companies, focusing on earned media, owned content, and paid amplification.

The companies operate in supply chain automation, spatial AI, fraud detection, and logistics. All are growth-stage firms competing in markets where differentiation beyond product features matters.

What SHIFT will do

The agency's approach combines multiple channels: industry press coverage, executive content, social media storytelling, and paid promotion. The goal is to build brand authority and drive business outcomes rather than simply secure media mentions.

Amanda Munroe, agency lead, said the clients need "cohesive storytelling systems that strengthen positioning, build demand and create discoverability where buyers are tuning in."

  • Symbotic builds AI-powered robotic systems for warehouse and logistics automation.
  • Signifyd provides machine learning-based fraud and abuse protection for ecommerce brands.
  • Exol operates a robotic logistics platform combining physical AI, software, and a nationwide fulfillment network.
