Oxford and Simplilearn Launch Three AI Leadership Programs for Executives

Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and Simplilearn have partnered to launch three online programs designed to train executives and strategy leaders in AI integration. The programs address a widening gap: 88% of companies now use AI regularly in at least one business function, yet fewer than one-third of executives believe their organizations have adequate AI talent to execute strategy.

The three programs are the Oxford Programme in AI and Business Analytics; the Oxford Programme in Strategic Analysis and Decision-Making with AI; and the Oxford Programme in Cyber-Resilient Digital Transformation. Each targets a different dimension of enterprise AI adoption.

What Each Program Covers

The AI and Business Analytics program teaches leaders to translate descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics into boardroom strategy. It uses real-world case studies including Hartford HealthCare and an e-commerce capstone project.

The Strategic Analysis and Decision-Making program strengthens strategic thinking by using AI as a decision-support tool. It covers frameworks like PESTEL analysis and Porter's Five Forces, plus generative AI applications for scenario planning and competitive analysis.

The Cyber-Resilient Digital Transformation program embeds cyber-risk thinking into AI strategy. It teaches leaders to evaluate emerging technologies, protect critical assets, and communicate technology risks to boards and executives.

Program Design and Access

The programs combine self-paced modules with live sessions. They follow Universal Design for Learning principles and are built by Oxford Saïd faculty. This format allows working professionals to maintain flexibility while meeting academic standards.

Participants earn a certificate of attendance from Saïd Business School upon completion. They also join the Oxford Saïd alumni community, which includes over 50,000 professionals across more than 195 countries.

Who Should Apply

The programs target business managers, functional leaders, strategy and transformation professionals, analytics leaders, consultants, and product and technology leaders responsible for enterprise AI initiatives.

Kashyap Dalal, Co-founder and COO of Simplilearn, said the partnership reflects a commitment to making advanced AI education accessible to working professionals. "AI has moved from experimental adoption to foundational infrastructure across every sector, yet the leadership skills required to harness its potential responsibly remain scarce," Dalal said.

Rishad Lilani, Associate Director of Oxford Saïd Online, said the programs equip leaders with analytical rigor and human-in-the-loop oversight principles. "These are core leadership imperatives that require judgment, ethical frameworks and the confidence to navigate uncertainty," Lilani said.
