€1.198m boost for Sligo: AI studio and industrial innovation plans move forward
County Sligo has secured €1,198,016 under the Smart Regions Enterprise Innovation Scheme to accelerate tech-driven growth and jobs. Another €200,000 will fund exploration of a Fire Testing Centre and a Heavy Industrial Innovation Hub for wet manufacturing in Sligo.
Fine Gael Minister of State, Frank Feighan, said: "The Smart Regions programme is great news for our area.
