South Korea Opens AI-Focused Fintech Testing Program
The Financial Services Commission and Korea Fintech Support Center are recruiting participants for a testing program that provides computing resources and mentoring for fintech companies developing AI-based financial services. Applications open April 20 and close February 15.
The D-testbed program selects about 25 participants per cycle. It operates two tracks: a standard test track and a new GPU support track created this year to address demand for generative AI and LLM development.
What Participants Receive
Accepted companies gain access to a remote analysis environment, combined financial and nonfinancial datasets, and expert mentoring. The program also provides feasibility assessments for proposed services.
The GPU support track offers high-performance computing infrastructure specifically for companies building AI models with their own data. This addition reflects growing interest in applying AI to financial services development.
How to Apply
Interested fintech companies and prospective founders can apply online through the D-testbed website. The test track requires participants to work within an isolated remote environment using data and tools provided by the support center.
For finance professionals exploring AI for Finance, understanding these testing frameworks shows how organizations structure AI development in regulated industries.
