Thesis Care Raises $45 Million to Expand AI-Powered Clinical Teams

Thesis Care, a platform that pairs AI agents with clinicians to handle patient care workflows, raised $45 million in Series A funding. Oak HC/FT led the round, which included participation from CRV, Black Opal Ventures, and healthcare technology investors. The company, formerly known as Trovo Health, now has $60 million in total funding.

The platform automates routine clinical tasks-patient outreach, appointment scheduling, care coordination-while keeping human clinicians in the loop for decisions that require judgment. It integrates into existing hospital and practice systems without forcing staff to learn new software.

Thesis Care already works with five major provider organizations: U.S. Heart & Vascular, Essen Health Care, Springfield Clinic, Unio Health Partners, and Allied Digestive Health. The company plans to expand into health systems and insurance plans.

How It Works

The platform understands clinical context to tailor patient engagement and execute complete workflows. Rather than replacing clinicians, it handles the administrative burden that slows care delivery.

Shaivali Shah, senior vice president of operations at Allied Digestive Health, said the platform "takes real work off our staff's plates, patients show up prepared, and care gaps get closed."

Mike Plantz, senior vice president of revenue operations at U.S. Heart & Vascular, noted the solution deployed quickly with minimal internal effort, resulting in reduced administrative work and stronger practice support.

What's Next

Thesis Care will use the new capital to accelerate sales, improve its platform, and build additional AI agents for different clinical specialties.

Niren Gandra, CEO and co-founder, said 2025 marked the shift from pilot partnerships to commercial traction. "We've proven that we can extend clinical capacity and allow our customers to do more for patients at a scale that has historically been impossible," he said.

For healthcare professionals managing clinical operations, AI for Healthcare and AI Agents & Automation represent practical tools to reduce administrative friction and redirect staff time toward patient-facing work.
