Tokio Marine Partners with Salesforce Japan to Boost AI Adoption
Tokio Marine Holdings and Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire have entered a partnership with Salesforce Japan aimed at accelerating the insurer’s use of artificial intelligence (AI) and data in customer-facing operations.
This collaboration builds on Tokio Marine’s current use of Salesforce products, such as the agency management platform TNEXT and contact-center systems. A key part of the agreement is integrating Salesforce’s autonomous AI agent, Agentforce, into contact centers, agencies, and branch offices.
About Agentforce
Agentforce is a no-code/low-code autonomous AI agent that offers the flexibility to choose from multiple large language models. This enables teams to quickly deploy AI capabilities without the need for extensive programming knowledge.
Transforming Customer Operations
Specialists from both Tokio Marine and Salesforce will collaborate to redesign business processes using advanced AI. Their focus includes:
- Combining customer data platforms with AI to develop recommendation systems that respond to individual customer needs.
- Building AI-enabled contact centers to streamline workflows from policy enrollment through to after-sales service.
Investing in AI Skills and Systems
Tokio Marine plans to invest in building internal capabilities around AI-driven process transformation and system development. This commitment supports ongoing digital initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer experience.
