Chairman of the National Assembly interacts with Law AI at the 2025 Law Day Ceremony
On November 7, 2025, the Ministry of Justice held the 2025 Law Day Celebration of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. Mr. Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly and member of the Politburo, attended and chaired the ceremony alongside leaders from the Government, central agencies, provinces, the National Assembly Delegations, and mass organizations.
A key highlight: the official launch of the National Law Portal's full version. The platform adds new functions to help people and businesses access legal information, receive answers to law-related questions, and support state management in law-making and enforcement in a digital environment.
Law AI becomes a core feature of the National Law Portal
Law AI - operated and developed by LuatVietnam - is now integrated into the Portal as a primary capability. At the exhibition area, LuatVietnam introduced Law AI, including a voice-based experience for users. The Chairman, Mr. Tran Thanh Man, and other delegates directly interacted with the system.
Senior leaders also tested Law AI on site, including Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung. "Outstanding Character in Law Compliance" honorees such as Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Vien, Labor Hero Nguyen Quang Mau, and overseas entrepreneur Nguyen Hoai Bac visited the booth, tried the tool, and met with the LuatVietnam.vn leadership team.
What this means for legal professionals
- Faster access to current legal normative documents in one place, backed by structured attributes and timely updates.
- Direct Q&A support for law-related questions, with an interface that suits both desktop and voice-based queries.
- Practical support for drafting, compliance reviews, and monitoring enforcement activities across jurisdictions.
- Improved coordination in the policy cycle: proposal, consultation, promulgation, and implementation.
LuatVietnam's role on the Portal
Beyond operating Law AI, LuatVietnam is responsible for the "New legal normative documents" section on the National Law Portal. This includes providing the contents and attributes of newly promulgated instruments, helping practitioners quickly locate applicable texts and identify their effect status.
How to get value from the new tools
- Use Law AI for quick scoping and issue spotting, then pull cited instruments for confirmation before advice or filings.
- Leverage the voice-based option to capture queries during meetings or field inspections and save time on routine lookups.
- Set an internal checklist: citation verification, effective date checks, cross-references to implementing guidance.
- Monitor the "New legal normative documents" feed daily for changes impacting client operations or agency workflows.
The launch contributes to the goal of innovating law-making and law enforcement to meet national development requirements in the new era, consistent with Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW. For context on Law Day activities and policy communications, see the Ministry of Justice's updates at moj.gov.vn.
