WealthAi raises $800k to launch AI-first OS for wealth managers

January 29, 2026

WealthAi has closed an $800k pre-seed round led by Fuel Ventures and Founders Factory. The company is building an AI-driven operating system for advisers, family offices, and private banks.

The problem: tool sprawl drives cost and risk

One in three wealth professionals uses 10 or more systems to get through a day. Client data sits in disconnected silos, forcing teams to rekey information and reconcile everything by hand.

The result: higher operational risk, higher costs, and less time with clients. Many firms know their tech is behind, yet replacement projects stall due to cost, complexity, and fear of disrupting service.

The solution: a single AI-native operating system

WealthAi proposes a unified platform with built-in connectivity, shared data, and access to tools across the stack. The experience centers on WealthAi Assistant, an agentic AI interface for advisers, compliance, and operations.

The assistant orchestrates workflows, automates tasks end to end, and applies task-specific context by drawing on the right systems and data for each role. The company says this approach can reduce operational overhead, improve personalisation, and scale service without adding headcount.

Integrations and ecosystem

The platform includes a marketplace of pre-integrated services coordinated by AI agents. Current integrations include providers such as Morningstar, Capital Economics, MDOTM, PlannerPal, and Axyon. WealthAi is also developing data aggregation to pull information from more than 200 custodian banks.

Why managers should care

  • Simplify without a full rip-and-replace. A modular setup lets you adopt individual components-workflow automation, compliance support, or investment research-while keeping existing core systems intact.
  • Cut manual data entry and reconciliation. Fewer handoffs and one data layer can lower error rates and speed up onboarding and reviews.
  • Improve oversight. Shared data and role-aware automation can make audits, approvals, and exception handling faster and more consistent.
  • De-risk change management. A role-based AI assistant reduces training overhead and supports phased rollout. Start with a pilot team, track cycle times and error rates, and expand from there.
  • Procurement fit. Ask about pricing models, SLAs, security certifications, data portability, and how the assistant handles conflicts across systems.

What investors and leadership are saying

Fuel Ventures founder Mark Pearson said the WealthAi team stood out for an AI-centric approach aimed at the specific pain points of wealth managers. He highlighted the modular architecture, noting firms can adopt discrete modules at a pace that fits their clients instead of overhauling everything at once.

Jason Nabi, Founder & CEO of WealthAi, said wealth is about 12 months behind the legal sector on AI adoption. Interest picked up in 2024 but real action began last year, and he believes the timing is right as firms move to adopt AI for scale and better performance.

What to watch next

  • Depth of custodian coverage and quality of data aggregation across 200+ banks.
  • Security and compliance posture, including audits, attestations, and regional data controls.
  • Deployment options (cloud, hybrid), implementation timelines, and integration effort with incumbent systems.
  • Proof of outcomes: reductions in manual work, faster client onboarding, and measurable compliance improvements.
  • Ecosystem growth beyond research and analytics into portfolio management, trading, and client communications.
