West Monroe, a management and technology consulting firm based in Chicago, has announced the hiring of Bret Greenstein as its new chief AI officer. Greenstein, who will be based in New York, brings over 30 years of experience in leading large-scale technology transformations.

In this role, Greenstein will steer West Monroe’s AI strategy focusing on three key areas:

• Developing AI-enabled offerings across various industries
• Integrating AI into client service delivery
• Driving AI adoption within the firm through enablement and governance

Proven Leadership in AI and Technology

Greenstein joins West Monroe from PwC, where he spent the last four years as a partner and generative AI leader, managing offerings, alliances, and go-to-market strategies. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and global head of AI and analytics at Cognizant for three years.

His earlier career includes 25 years at IBM, where he held roles such as global vice president of Watson IoT solutions and offerings, and global CIO for emerging markets.

Strengthening West Monroe’s AI Capabilities
