WongPartnership and Thomson Reuters Launch AI Legal Trial in Asia
WongPartnership has teamed up with Thomson Reuters to introduce AI-driven legal solutions across Southeast Asia. This collaboration focuses on a Proof of Concept (POC) featuring CoCounsel, a generative AI assistant built specifically for legal professionals.
The law firm will use CoCounsel to streamline key tasks such as legal research, data extraction, and summarisation. Initially, CoCounsel will integrate with Thomson Reuters' established platforms like Westlaw Edge UK and Practical Law, both widely used for their extensive legal content. The AI capabilities added to these platforms are adapted to address practical and ethical challenges unique to Southeast Asia's legal context.
Enhancing Legal Practice with AI
