World War Seven Launches WW8: A New Creative AI Lab for Storytellers
On July 29, 2025, World War Seven introduced WW8 Labs, an artist-led creative AI lab that equips filmmakers and brands with innovative tools to craft compelling stories. WW8 is a fresh extension of WW7, blending live-action expertise with AI, VFX, and emerging technologies to push filmmaking into new territories.
WW8 isn’t about replacing human creativity—it’s about amplifying it. The lab combines technology with the same curiosity, taste, and craft that have defined WW7’s work, offering storytellers more ways to bring their visions to life without losing the soul of their projects. Think of WW8 as WW7’s tech-savvy younger sibling, armed with more gadgets but grounded in creative discipline.
How WW8 Works
By integrating AI and visual effects intentionally, WW8 crafts narratives and immersive worlds that once felt out of reach—even with unlimited budgets. These tools are handed over to artists, keeping human creativity and judgment at the center of every project.
Josh Ferrazzano, co-founder of WW7, remarks, “WW8 enables new forms of storytelling in creativity and production, backed by a team with a proven creative track record. You won’t need to learn new tech languages or work with robots—we handle the tech so you can focus on the art.”
Meet the WW8 Artists
- Daniel Algarin: A 15-time Clio Award winner with collaborations including A24, Lionsgate, Netflix, and Warner Bros. Currently producing the feature film Presence of Death, a horror story set in feudal Japan.
- HumAIn: An AI artist behind over 30 commercial projects for brands like Vogue, Coca-Cola, and Hugo Boss. HumAIn’s work has been recognized at Cannes Lions and exhibited globally.
- DPOP STUDIOS: Founded by Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner Dan Sickles, with a philosophy of “Build better.”
- Kelly Boesch: Known for surrealist creations with over 500K followers and more than 50 million TikTok views. She blends personal experimental work with advertising campaigns.
- Jacob Adler: Winner of the Runway AI Film Festival’s top prize for his short film Total Pixel Space, now being developed into a feature.
Collaborations and Projects
WW8 artists regularly collaborate on short-form experimental pieces and cutting-edge advertising campaigns. They also work closely with WW7’s Entertainment division to develop long-form narrative projects for both traditional and digital platforms.
Daniel Algarin’s current feature, Presence of Death, and Jacob Adler’s feature in development based on Total Pixel Space, exemplify WW8’s commitment to pushing creative boundaries with technology while maintaining a human touch.
For creatives interested in expanding their skills with AI and storytelling tools, exploring courses on Complete AI Training can provide practical guidance on integrating these technologies effectively.
WW8 proves that the future of filmmaking doesn’t mean losing the artist’s voice. Instead, it’s about working smarter, not harder, with technology that supports creativity rather than replacing it.
