Carbon Management Platform Zevero Raises $7 Million in Series B Funding

Zevero, which provides software to automate emissions tracking across company operations, has raised $7 million in new funding. The round brings total capital raised to $14 million and includes investors Spiral Capital, Gazelle Capital, and Deep30.

The platform collects and calculates Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions data using AI, then converts that information into insights for business decisions. Companies use it for ESG reporting, product design choices, and procurement strategies.

For product development teams specifically, the platform offers a direct application: it flags where emissions are concentrated in product lifecycles and supply chains, letting developers factor sustainability into design decisions from the start.

How It Works

Zevero connects to existing enterprise resource planning, finance, and procurement systems to pull data automatically. This cuts the manual work typically required to gather emissions information across departments.

The company employs in-house sustainability experts who identify emissions hotspots, help set reduction targets, and develop decarbonization strategies specific to each client. In February, Zevero acquired Inhabit, a UK sustainability advisory firm, to expand this support function beyond measurement into execution.

The platform's calculations follow the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1 standards, making results compatible with audits and third-party verification.

Growth and Market Demand

Zevero's customer base has doubled year-over-year. Annual recurring revenue grew 400% in the same period. The company now serves clients including Asahi Group Japan, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and waterdrop across more than 20 countries.

Its customers collectively track over 1 million tons of CO2e through the platform. The European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, which requires companies to report embedded emissions in products, is driving demand for better emissions visibility.

Zevero plans to use the new funding to expand product capabilities and enter more markets in Asia-Pacific and Europe.
