AI agent for job seekers
Application Package Consistency Agent
A set of application documents that agree on every date, title and number before you submit
What it does
You send a lot of applications, and over time the resume, LinkedIn profile, cover letter and the form answers you type in drift apart. One says a job ended in March, another says May. Recruiters notice. Before each submission this agent reads all four sources and compares dates, titles, employers, numbers and spelling. It lists every mismatch and proposes one fix for each, using your master career record as the tie-breaker. After you accept edits it checks the documents again, because a fix in one place often breaks another. It never submits for you. It also checks that the numbers in the cover letter match the resume. Edge case: a role was renamed mid-job, so the agent keeps both titles and asks which one to show.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list
- Application is ready to submit
- Collect resume, LinkedIn, cover letter and form answers
- Extract every date, title, employer, number and name into one table
- Compare each fact across sources against the master record
- Propose one fix per mismatch and mark open questions
- Job seeker accepts or rejects each fixThe agent waits here for your OK.
- Apply accepted edits to the draft documents
- Do all sources now agree on every fact?If not: re-run the comparison on the edited documents and list the new or remaining mismatches. Back to step 4.
- Do the cover letter claims match the resume numbers? If not: correct the claim or flag the number for the job seeker. Back to step 5.
- Consistent package ready for the seeker to submit
How it decides
A mismatch is a fix when the master record settles it. It is a question when the record is silent or two sources disagree with it.
- Treat the master career record as the truth when sources disagree
- Ask the seeker when the record has no answer
- Flag any number that differs by even one digit
- Never change a fact the seeker has not confirmed
Make it yours
Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.
- Which documents to compare (default: resume, LinkedIn, cover letter, form answers)
- Master career record location
- Strictness for wording differences (default: dates and numbers only)
- Spelling variant (default: US English)
What keeps you in control
It always asks you first
- Job seeker approves every change to a document
- Job seeker submits the application
Hard limits
- Never invents experience or dates
- Never submits an application or edits LinkedIn on its own
It stops when
- Done: all sources agree and the seeker has approved the package
- Stop: the master career record is missing or the seeker leaves a question open
