AI agent for job seekers

Employer Deep-Dive Briefing Agent

A short, current, sourced briefing that you can use to prepare talking points and questions

Employer Deep-Dive Briefing Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Before an interview you want real facts about the company, but they are scattered across news, filings, review sites and staff profiles, and most of what you find is old. When the interview is booked, this agent gathers recent news, funding or earnings, what the interviewers have publicly worked on, and the themes in employee reviews. It checks the date and source of every fact and drops anything stale or from a weak source. If a gap remains, such as no news in the last six months, it searches again with other terms. It ends with open questions you can ask. You pick the talking points. Edge case: two sources disagree about headcount, so the agent shows both and says which is newer.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

A fact is kept when it has a named source and a date inside the freshness window. A gap triggers another search with different terms before the agent gives up.

  • Keep a fact only if it is newer than the freshness window
  • Show conflicting numbers side by side with dates
  • Label review themes as opinion, not fact
  • Skip any personal detail about interviewers beyond their professional record

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Freshness window (default: 12 months)
  • Sources to include or avoid
  • Days before the interview to run (default: 2)
  • Length of the brief (default: one page)

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Job seeker reviews the brief and chooses what to use

Hard limits

  • Never contacts the company or interviewers
  • Never uses private or leaked information

It stops when

  • Done: every area is covered with current sourced facts
  • Stop: the company has almost no public information, so the agent says so

An example run

What happensA seeker interviews with a regional logistics firm on Thursday. The first pass found a funding story from 2021. The freshness check failed, so the agent dropped it and searched again, finding a March 2026 expansion into two new depots. Reviews showed a theme of long shifts. The brief listed three questions about staffing. The seeker kept two and added one of her own.
