What it does
Selling work directly means tracking editions, invoices, certificates and shipping, and selling the same edition number twice is a real risk. When a collector asks about a work or print, this agent checks availability and the price list and drafts a reply with details and images. When the buyer agrees, it drafts the invoice, certificate of authenticity and shipping plan, including packing, insurance and delivery time. It checks the invoice matches the price list, the edition number and any agreed discount, and that the edition number is not already sold. If something does not match, it asks the artist. It follows up on payment and confirms delivery. The artist approves every message and discount. Edge case: a buyer in another country gets a note on customs and duties.
