AI agent for media relations specialists

Awards and Speaking Opportunity Tracker Agent

Never miss a worthwhile award or speaking deadline and submit complete entries on time.

Awards and Speaking Opportunity Tracker Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Industry awards and conference calls for speakers have deadlines that pass unnoticed, and good stories never get submitted. The agent searches industry sites, conference pages and award lists for opportunities in the company's sectors. It checks eligibility, such as company size, region, entry fees and category, and rates how well each fits the company's stories and executives. It builds a submission calendar with deadlines and lists the materials needed for each, such as bios, case studies, photos and references. It tracks which materials are ready, reminds owners, and checks that each submission is complete before the deadline. After a submission it logs the status and results. Edge case: a call for speakers that requires a fee to enter. The agent flags the cost for the specialist. The specialist approves each submission.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

An opportunity is worth pursuing when eligibility is met and fit scores at least 3 out of 5. Items are due-risk when materials are not ready 7 days before the deadline.

  • Pursue only when eligibility is met and fit is 3 or higher
  • Flag any entry fee over the set amount for approval
  • Remind owners 14 days and 7 days before the deadline
  • Skip an opportunity if materials will not be ready 3 days before the deadline

An example run

What happensThe search finds 9 opportunities. Five pass eligibility, and 3 fit well. A customer-service award is due June 20 and needs a case study, a 100-word summary and a photo. On June 13, the case study is missing, so the agent reminds the owner. It arrives June 16. The assembled entry passes the checks, and the specialist approves the $250 fee.
