AI agent for bloggers

Broken and Affiliate Link Check Agent

Keep every link on the blog working and earning

Broken and Affiliate Link Check Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Bloggers often have hundreds of affiliate links across old posts, and broken ones quietly cost income. Each week this agent crawls the blog and tests every link. For affiliate links, it checks that they still reach a live product page and carry the right tracking code. It flags broken links, products out of stock for 30 days and programs that have closed. Where possible, it suggests a replacement product or program link, so the blogger is not left with a gap. The blogger approves every replacement before the post is updated. After the update, the agent tests the links again. If any still fail or lost the tracking code, it flags them and suggests another fix. The weekly link report shows what was fixed and what is left. Edge case: a product that moved to a new page gets the new link with the same tracking code.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

An example run

What happensThe weekly check crawls 410 posts and tests 3,200 links. It flags 17 broken links, 9 out-of-stock products and one closed affiliate program. The agent finds replacements, and the blogger approves them. The retest fails for 2 links that redirect to a home page.
