AI agent for marketing directors

Campaign UTM Integrity Agent

Every campaign link keeps correct tracking through to the destination.

Campaign UTM Integrity Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Broken tracking parameters split campaign results across many names, so nobody can tell which campaign worked. When campaign links are created, this agent checks every link's tracking parameters against the team's naming rules and corrects them from the approved list. It then follows each link through every redirect to the final page. If a redirect strips the parameters, it does not just rename tags. It traces the redirect path, finds the rule that drops them and flags it with evidence. Operations approves publishing, and the agent never changes consent settings. Edge case: a short vanity link drops the campaign parameter at the second redirect, so the agent finds and flags that rule.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

It repairs from taxonomy and tests the full redirect path.

  • Correct parameters only from the approved naming list.
  • Test the full redirect path to the final page every time.
  • When parameters are stripped, find the cause before publishing.
  • Never change consent or cookie settings.

  • Naming rules and approved values for each parameter
  • Which redirects and short-link services to test
  • How many redirect hops to follow (default 5)

An example run

What happensFor the 1 March webinar push, 26 links are created. The agent corrects 4 links that use 'Email' instead of 'email' as the medium. Redirect testing fails on 3 vanity links: the campaign parameter disappears at the second hop. It traces the redirect path, finds a rule that rewrites the query string and flags it. After the web team fixes the rule, all 26 pass. Operations approves publishing.
