AI agent for ghostwriters
Client Brief to Chapter Plan Agent
Produce a chapter plan whose every chapter has enough interview material, and a list of questions for what is missing.
What it does
A ghostwriter collects hours of interviews with a client and then spends days sorting stories into chapters and finding what is missing. This agent reads the interview transcripts and the client brief, and maps the material to a working chapter plan: which stories, facts and quotes belong where, and which themes have enough material. It checks coverage for each chapter, flagging thin chapters, missing dates and names, unresolved contradictions and gaps in the arc. It then drafts specific questions for the next call, ordered by importance. After each call, it adds the new transcript and rechecks coverage. It never writes the book text itself. The ghostwriter approves the plan and the questions. Edge case: a story the client asks to keep private is tagged and kept out of the plan.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

- Add the next call's transcript and update the map
- Did the new material close the earlier gaps?If not: carry the open gaps into the next question list. Back to step 4.
- Chapter plan with coverage status
How it decides
It places material by theme and timeline, and calls a chapter covered when it has enough stories, facts and quotes to reach the target length.
- Call a chapter covered with at least 3 stories and a date anchor
- Flag a contradiction when two accounts differ on a fact
- Keep private-tagged material out of the plan
- Order questions by chapters with the biggest gap first
