AI agent for internal communications managers

Communications Channel Adaptation Agent

Channel-ready messages that keep every mandatory fact.

Communications Channel Adaptation Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Channel character limits often cut important context, such as who qualifies or when something starts. When an approved message needs versions for social, SMS or app notices, this agent drafts each variant by cutting optional explanation first. It checks that every mandatory fact survives within the limit. If they do not fit, it cuts more optional text or proposes a link to the full version. It never drops a mandatory fact silently. It then checks links and meaning against the approved message. Communications operations approves publishing. Edge case: the first short draft drops the eligibility qualifier, so the agent cuts the opening line instead.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

An example run

What happensA benefits change is approved on 7 July for 4 channels. The SMS draft at 160 characters fails the check: it drops 'for staff hired before 2024'. The agent cuts the greeting line, restores the qualifier, and fits at 158. The app notice still cannot fit all facts, so it adds a link to the full notice. Links work. Communications ops approves.
