AI agent for police officers

Court Testimony Prep Agent

An officer who has reviewed a full, accurate timeline of their own record before court

Court Testimony Prep Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Officers may testify months after writing a report, and memory fades while the defense reads every page. This agent gathers the officer's reports, statements, body camera log and evidence list for the case, then builds one timeline from all documents. Where details differ, such as times or descriptions, it lists each difference with document references and does not resolve it. It drafts likely question areas for each part of the timeline so the officer can review their own record. Before court it checks whether the prosecutor sent new materials and updates the prep. It uses only the case record and never suggests what to say. Whether to raise an issue with the prosecutor is the officer's choice. Edge case: if a document the officer did not write contradicts their report, it is listed so the officer can raise it.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

An example run

What happensFor a DUI trial 8 months after the stop, the report said 1:42 am, the dispatch log said 1:47 am and the body camera started at 1:46 am. The agreement check failed, and the agent listed the difference with page references. A week before trial the prosecutor sent the lab report, so it updated the timeline with the blood test times. The officer reviewed the prep with the prosecutor.
