AI agent for farmers

Crop Insurance Claim Evidence Agent

File a complete claim before the policy deadlines.

Crop Insurance Claim Evidence Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

A crop insurance claim can fail on a missing date or record, even when the loss is real. After a loss this agent starts the file at once. It pulls planting dates, inputs and yields from farm records, adds weather data for the days in question, and collects photos with dates and locations. It checks the policy deadlines for notice and filing, and finds gaps such as a missing planting record or an unreported date. It asks the farmer for what is missing and prepares the claim packet in the order the insurer wants. The farmer approves filing. Edge case: if the notice deadline is two days away, it drafts the notice first and the rest of the packet after.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

It treats policy deadlines as fixed and builds the packet to match the insurer's checklist, closing each gap before filing.

  • Send the loss notice first if the deadline is within 3 days
  • Photos need date and field location
  • Weather data must cover the loss window
  • Never estimate a value without a record

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Notice deadline warning (default 3 days)
  • Insurer checklist
  • Photo requirements
  • Where records are stored

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Farmer approves filing

Hard limits

  • Never file without the farmer
  • Never invent or estimate evidence

It stops when

  • Done: the claim is filed with a complete packet
  • Stop: records cannot be found and the farmer talks to the insurer

An example run

What happensHail hits 60 acres of wheat on June 12. Notice is due within 72 hours. The agent drafts it June 13. In the packet check, the planting date for field 4 is missing. The farmer finds it in a seed receipt. The agent adds the receipt, the weather report and 18 photos. The farmer approves filing on June 20.
