AI agent for hotel managers

Hotel Rate Sheet Consistency Agent

Every rate sheet matches the approved rate rules.

Hotel Rate Sheet Consistency Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Approved hotel rate changes often do not show up consistently across working rate sheets. When a rate change is approved, this agent compares each sheet's effective dates and prices with the approved rules. It drafts corrections, then recalculates package totals, minimum-stay restrictions and other dependent rules. If a correction breaks a dependent rule, such as a package total or a minimum stay, it repairs that rule and reruns the checks. It only corrects from the approved rules, never from its own judgment about pricing. The revenue manager approves publishing. Edge case: two approved rules overlap on the same dates, so the agent asks the revenue manager which applies rather than choosing.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

An example run

What happensA rate change for November 1 to 30 raises weekday rates from $189 to $205. The agent corrects 6 sheets. The recheck fails because the weekend package total still uses the old weekday rate for Friday night. It repairs the package formula, recalculates to $612, and reruns the checks, which pass. The revenue manager reviews the pack and approves publishing.
