AI agent for court reporters
Interpreter and Accommodation Scheduling Agent
Have a confirmed qualified interpreter or accommodation for every hearing that needs one.
What it does
A hearing starts and there is no interpreter for the party's language or no sign language provider. The hearing is postponed and everyone is inconvenienced. This agent reads the upcoming hearings for language and accessibility needs, finds qualified providers, books them, and confirms each booking by reply. If a provider cancels, it finds a replacement. It rechecks the week's list daily, so new hearings and changes are covered. The clerk approves final assignments. Edge case: for a rare language with no available provider, it checks for a remote option and alerts the clerk early enough to ask for a continuance.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list
- Daily hearing calendar check begins
- Read hearings for the next 14 days and their language and access needs
- Match each need to qualified, available providers
- Send booking requests to providers
- Has each provider confirmed by reply? If not: Send a second request and contact the next provider on the list. Back to step 4.
- Clerk approves the final assignmentThe agent waits here for your OK.
- Update the hearing record
- Did any provider cancel or any new need arrive? If not: Find a replacement or book a new provider and notify the clerk. Back to step 2.
- Flag hearings with no provider 5 days before
- Confirmed interpreter list for the week
How it decides
Matches each need to qualified providers by language, certification and availability, and treats a booking as done only when the provider confirms.
- Request goes out 14 days before the hearing
- No reply in 24 hours means next provider
- No provider 5 days before triggers an alert to the clerk
- Only certified providers for court hearings
