AI agent for affiliate marketing managers
Leaked Coupon Code Monitor Agent
Find leaked codes quickly and shut them down with evidence of what they cost.
What it does
A private code meant for one partner shows up on a coupon site, and suddenly every shopper uses it, eating margin and crediting the wrong affiliate. This agent searches coupon sites and forums for the brand's codes, matches each one to the redemption log and measures how much revenue came through the leaked codes. It looks at which partner the code was issued to and the sudden changes in use. If a code is leaking, it proposes expiring or replacing it and drafts takedown requests for the coupon sites. After the action it rechecks the redemptions to see whether use dropped. If it did not, it looks for other sites. The manager approves each action.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list
- Daily scan
- Search coupon sites and forums for brand codes
- Match found codes to the issued code list
- Compare redemptions before and after the code appeared
- Calculate revenue and margin lost through the code
- Propose to expire or replace the code, and draft takedown requests
- Manager approves each actionThe agent waits here for your OK.
- Recheck redemptions and search results after the action
- Did redemptions drop and the listings disappear? If not: search for more sites and send further takedown requests. Back to step 3.
- Leak report and code replacement list
How it decides
It treats a code as leaked when it appears on a public site and redemptions rise outside the intended partner.
- Treat a code as leaked when redemptions rise 50 percent in 7 days after appearing on a public site
- Expire a private code if lost margin exceeds $500 per week
- Send takedown requests only for sites that list the exact code
- Issue a replacement code to the legitimate partner
