AI agent for contract administrators
Lease Abstract Source Verification Agent
A lease abstract where every field cites its clause.
What it does
Lease abstracts are the summary everyone relies on, but they often contain fields the lease text does not support, such as an old rent review clause that an amendment replaced. This agent takes an abstract and traces every field to its controlling clause, following the amendment hierarchy from the latest executed document back to the original lease. Where sources conflict, it records which one controls and why. Where the controlling text is genuinely unclear, it leaves the field as a reviewer question instead of filling it in. It then prepares a corrected abstract with a source link for every field and checks it again before the property administrator approves it. Legal interpretation stays with people. Edge case: an unsigned side letter is never used as a source.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list

How it decides
The amendment hierarchy decides; ambiguity goes to a reviewer.
- The latest executed document controls the field it changes.
- Unsigned documents are never sources.
- Unclear fields stay as reviewer questions.
- Every field in the final abstract cites a clause.
