Each location appears on map services, directories and review sites, and small differences in hours, phone numbers or categories pile up and confuse customers. Every month, and before each holiday, this agent reads every listing for every location and compares name, address, phone, hours and primary category against one master record. Any difference counts as a mismatch. Edits suggested by the public are reviewed first, because they often change hours or mark a store closed. The agent drafts corrections and holiday hours at least 10 days ahead. The owner or specialist approves every change before it is submitted. One week later the agent rechecks the listings, because some sites reject or revert edits. When a listing still does not match, it drafts a support request or a new correction and loops back. Edge case: duplicate listings are flagged for merging, never deleted.
