AI agent for scriptwriters

Logline and Pitch Packet Readiness Agent

A complete packet matched to each buyer, with sends tracked and followed up

Logline and Pitch Packet Readiness Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Pitch packets go out incomplete, and follow-ups are forgotten. This agent checks the packet for logline, synopsis, treatment, comps and bio against each buyer's requirements. It drafts any missing part from the script and notes, builds the target list by genre and what each buyer has bought, and tracks replies. It sets follow-up dates and drafts a short follow-up for each. It checks the packet again against the buyer's requirements before every send, since each buyer asks for different items. The writer approves each send. Edge case: a buyer that accepts queries only through an agent is marked and skipped.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

A buyer is a target when genre and past deals fit. A packet is ready when it contains everything that buyer requires, and no more than allowed.

  • Match each buyer's rules for length and items
  • Skip buyers that accept only agent submissions
  • Follow up once after 3 weeks
  • Keep comps recent, within 5 years

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Packet items
  • Follow-up timing (default 3 weeks)
  • Buyer rules
  • Comp age limit

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

  • Each send
  • Each follow-up

Hard limits

  • Never sends without approval
  • Never invents credits or comps

It stops when

  • Done: pitches sent and tracked
  • Stop: no buyers fit

An example run

What happensA thriller was ready for 12 buyers. Four required a 2-page treatment, and the packet had none. The requirement check failed, so the agent drafted the treatment from the script. The writer edited it and approved 12 sends. After three weeks 8 had not replied, so the agent drafted follow-ups, and the writer approved 7, skipping one who said no.
