AI agent for music teachers

Music Exam Readiness Agent

Students ready in every exam component

Music Exam Readiness Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Graded music exams test pieces, scales and arpeggios, sight-reading and aural skills, and students often prepare only the pieces. From the day a student is entered, this agent lists the requirements for their instrument and grade, reads the teacher's readiness ratings for each component from lesson notes, and plans weekly focus areas toward the exam date. It gives the weakest component the most time. Each week it checks whether every component is on pace for the exam. When one falls behind, it shifts lesson and practice time toward it, updates the plan and checks again the next week. It reminds the teacher of entry deadlines and fees, but the teacher always submits entries and pays. Edge case: if a student is unlikely to be ready in time, it suggests the teacher consider a later exam session and explains exactly which component is behind and by how much.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

An example run

What happensStudent Lily Chen was entered for a grade 4 piano exam on May 20. The agent listed all components and planned weekly focus. In week 6, the check found scales at 60 percent and sight-reading at 50 percent. It looped back and moved more time to those areas. Her teacher confirmed the entry once both reached 80 percent.
