AI agent for secondary school teachers
Exam Review Calendar Agent
The class covers every exam topic with review time matched to need before the exam date.
What it does
As an exam approaches, a teacher counts lessons left and realizes there are more topics than days. The agent maps every exam topic to the lessons remaining, then reads recent quiz and practice results to see which topics the class is weakest on. It builds a review calendar that gives more time to weak topics, places a short quiz at the end of each block, and leaves buffer days. After each quiz it reads the new results and updates the calendar, moving time from topics that are now strong to those that are not. If the calendar no longer fits the lessons left, it proposes what to drop. The teacher approves each version. Edge case: a school event removes a lesson and the agent rebuilds around it.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
Read the steps as a list
- Exam prep begins or a quiz result arrives
- Read the spec, lesson dates and results
- Map topics to remaining lessons
- Score each topic by weakness and exam weight
- Build the review calendar with quizzes and buffer days
- Does every topic fit in the lessons left?If not: Shorten strong topics, merge related ones or list what to drop for the teacher. Back to step 3.
- Teacher approves the calendarThe agent waits here for your OK.
- Publish the calendar and quiz plan
- Read results after each quiz
- Did the weak topics improve? If not: Reallocate time to topics still below target and rebuild the next block. Back to step 4.
- Current review calendar
How it decides
It weights each topic by weakness and exam marks, and moves time to the weakest topics first.
- Topics under 60% get double time
- Keep 1 buffer day per week
- Topics worth more marks get priority on ties
- Drop a topic only with teacher approval
Make it yours
Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.
- Weakness threshold (default 60%)
- Buffer days per week
- Quiz frequency
- Topic weights by marks
- Calendar format
What keeps you in control
It always asks you first
- Teacher approves each calendar version
- Teacher approves dropping any topic
Hard limits
- Never drop a topic without approval
- Never publish to students before approval
- Never rely on one quiz for a final decision
It stops when
- Done: all topics covered and the exam date reached
- Stop: lessons fall below the minimum for core topics
