AI agent for social media coordinators

Post Scheduling Preflight Agent

Every scheduled post passes technical and brand checks before it goes live

Post Scheduling Preflight Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

A scheduled post with a broken link or the wrong image size looks careless, and these slips are easy to miss in a busy queue. Each afternoon this agent reviews every post scheduled for the next 48 hours. It checks image and video sizes against each platform's specs, link destinations and tracking tags, alt text, tagged accounts, character limits, hashtags against a banned list, and posting time in the audience's time zone. It fixes simple failures, such as missing alt text, in a draft copy and runs the checks again. Wording changes and anything it cannot fix, like a missing video file or a dead link, go to the coordinator. The coordinator approves every change to scheduled posts. Edge case: a post tagging an account that has been renamed is caught because the tag no longer resolves.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

How it decides

It fixes mechanical issues itself in drafts and hands anything that changes meaning to the coordinator.

  • Fix sizes, tracking tags and alt text in drafts
  • Send wording changes to the coordinator
  • Hold posts with dead links

Make it yours

Every agent is a starting point. You choose these settings for your own situation.

  • Run time
  • Banned hashtag list
  • Tracking tag rules

What keeps you in control

It always asks you first

An example run

What happensOn Thursday at 3 p.m. the agent checked 23 posts. Four failed: two had no alt text, one link went to a 404 page and one LinkedIn image had the wrong ratio. It fixed three in drafts. The 404 link still failed after a retry, so it sent that post to the coordinator, who found the new page address. The coordinator approved all four changes.
