What it does

Before departure, clients need every travel document in one place, and a single missing voucher can ruin a day of the trip. Ten days before departure, this agent gathers e-tickets, hotel confirmations, transfer vouchers, tour tickets and insurance details for the trip. It checks that names match passports, that dates line up with the itinerary, and that every booked service has a confirmation. Missing or mismatched items are requested from suppliers, and the agent checks again when replies arrive. It then builds a day-by-day travel pack with local emergency contacts. The travel agent approves the pack and sends it to the client. Edge case: a name mismatch on a flight ticket is escalated to the travel agent at once, because fixing it may cost money and gets harder close to departure.
