AI agent for insurance agency managers

Producer Licensing and CE Compliance Agent

No producer selling without a valid license or with missing CE

Producer Licensing and CE Compliance Agent: what goes in, what the agent does and what you get

What it does

Every producer must hold a valid license and complete continuing education in each state where they sell, and a lapse can stop sales or bring fines. Each month this agent checks each producer's license status against state records and calculates the credits still needed before each deadline. It warns producers at 90, 60 and 30 days. When certificates come in, it checks that the credits meet the state's subject and hour rules, with ethics hours tracked separately. If credits do not count, it tells the producer exactly what is still needed. It also compares where each producer sells with where they are licensed and flags any mismatch at once. The agency manager approves any restriction on selling. Edge case: a producer moves to a new state, so the agent lists the new license requirements.

How it works

Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.

An example run

What happensIn September, a producer submitted 24 hours of CE for an October 31 deadline. The rules check found only 1 of the 3 required ethics hours, so it failed. The agent told the producer that 2 ethics hours were still needed within 40 days and listed approved courses. It also found one policy sold in a state with a lapsed license, which the manager paused.
