AI agent for mediators
Settlement Term Consistency Agent
A term sheet whose amounts, dates and obligations agree.
What it does
A term sheet drafted at the end of a long mediation often contains contradictions: an amount in one clause and a different number in another, a payment date before the signing date. These reopen the dispute. This agent reads the terms agreed in session and checks amounts, dates and obligations for conflicts. It lists questions, recomputes totals after answers and rechecks the whole sheet. The mediator approves the term sheet. It decides a conflict exists when two clauses cannot both be true, and it lists the clauses side by side so the mediator can choose. It does not pick the right number itself. After each answer it recomputes every total and date from scratch. Edge case: the settlement amount is $120,000 in the summary but the payment schedule adds to $110,000, so the agent flags the difference.
How it works
Follow the arrows from top to bottom. The orange dashed arrow is the loop: when a check fails, the agent goes back and tries again.
