BackPow MCP server

by BackpowCom · official

Ask your AI for live mining numbers: difficulty, hashrate, solo-mining odds and hardware profit.

This is the official connector for BackPow, a live data service about crypto mining. It lets your AI assistant look up real numbers for over 126 mining networks and more than 770 hardware models, without you opening a single website. It is handy if you follow mining, own a rig, or just want to know what a machine would earn today.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you from what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper that gives your AI one new skill or one new connection. This helper connects your AI to BackPow, a live mining data service. So when you ask about mining, your AI can go and fetch the current numbers instead of guessing.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI a mining question in normal words, like how long it would take to solo mine a Bitcoin block. Your AI sends that question to the BackPow helper. The helper looks up the live figures on BackPow and sends them back. Your AI then explains the answer to you in the chat, with the numbers and the time they were measured. You do not need an account or a password for any of this.

What you can do with it

  • Check the current difficulty and hashrate of a mining network
  • Estimate how long solo mining a block would take on your hardware
  • See whether mining a coin is profitable at today's price and power cost
  • Compare coins by net earnings per day for a specific graphics card or miner
  • Browse mining networks by algorithm or by profitability
  • Read recent mining and network news

Try asking your AI

  • “How long would it take to solo mine a Bitcoin block at 100 TH/s?”
  • “Is mining Monero profitable right now?”
  • “What is Kaspa's current difficulty?”
  • “What should I mine with an RTX 4090 at 0.10 USD per kWh?”

What it gives back to you

You get numbers and short explanations written back into the chat, like mean time to find a block, a chance over 7 or 30 days, a profit margin, or a ranked list of coins. Each answer also comes with the moment it was measured and a ready-made line you can copy if you want to cite it. If a network's state cannot be measured, or a ticker matches several chains, you get a clear message instead of a made-up number.

Before you start

Good to know

These are estimates and data, not financial advice, and mining numbers change all the time, so always check the timestamp on an answer before you act on it.

Install it with your AI

Add BackPow MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed

You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.

Sign in to get the install prompt

Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check BackPow MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,609 MCP servers here for you.
