Barker MCP server
by barkermoney · official
Lets your AI look up live stablecoin yields, compare pools, and prepare deposit or redeem transactions.
Barker is a service that tracks where stablecoins like USDC and USDT are earning the most interest, across many blockchains and platforms. This MCP server connects your AI assistant to Barker's live data. It is handy if you follow crypto savings and want your AI to answer questions like which pool pays the most or how a yield compares to a bank account.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already learned. An MCP server is a small helper that gives it a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to Barker, a live stablecoin yield index. Once it is added, you can ask questions in plain words and your AI will fetch fresh numbers from Barker instead of guessing.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something about stablecoin yields, for example which pools pay the most right now. Your AI sends that request to the Barker helper, which looks it up in Barker's live index of yield pools across blockchains and centralized platforms. Barker sends back a ranked list with interest rates, pool sizes, protocol names and chains. Your AI then turns that into a normal answer in your chat. For deposits, Barker can also prepare an unsigned transaction that your own wallet would sign, but Barker itself never moves or holds your money.
What you can do with it
- Find the highest-paying stablecoin pools right now
- Compare yields across chains, protocols and stablecoins
- See how stablecoin yields stack up against US Treasury rates
- Check the history of a pool's interest rate and size
- Get a risk-flavored shortlist of pools for your situation
- Prepare a deposit or redeem transaction for your own wallet to sign
- Look up the vault position of a wallet address
Try asking your AI
- “What are the best USDC yields right now?”
- “Compare Aave and Morpho stablecoin pools on Base”
- “Has the average stablecoin yield gone up or down over the last 30 days?”
- “Show me the top 5 stablecoin pools with the lowest risk flags”
What it gives back to you
You get answers in your normal chat: ranked lists of pools with interest rates, pool sizes, protocol and chain names, plus short reasons and risk notes when you ask for advice. Trend questions come back as a summary of how rates moved over a period, sometimes compared to US Treasury yields. If you ask for a deposit quote, you get details of a prepared transaction rather than money moving. Everything is text in the conversation, nothing is installed on your computer.
Before you start
What you need
- An AI assistant that supports remote MCP servers, such as Claude Code, Cursor or Cline
- A way to pay small per-call fees in crypto (x402), for example an OKX or Coinbase payment skill or wallet
- A dedicated low-balance wallet for those payments, never your main wallet
Good to know
Tool calls cost small crypto fees each time, and the deposit quotes are unsigned transactions you must check and sign yourself in your own wallet, since Barker never holds or moves your funds.
Install it with your AI
Add Barker MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Barker MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,210 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
