Astral MCP server

Lets your AI build astrology charts, check transits, compare two people and find the Moon phase.

This is a small helper that gives your AI real astrology skills. You give it a birth date, time and place, and it works out the chart for you. It is handy if you enjoy astrology and want your AI to do the maths instead of guessing.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat and write text. An MCP server is a little helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to something. This one connects your AI to an astrology engine that runs on your own computer. So when you ask about a birth chart, your AI passes the details to this helper, the helper does the calculation, and the answer comes back to you in the chat.

What this MCP server does

You tell your AI the birth details, like the date, time and place. Your AI sends those details to this helper program running on your computer. The helper works out the chart with one astrology engine, then checks it again with a second, independent one. If the two disagree, it flags the chart so you know something may be off. Then it hands the results back to your AI, which writes the reading for you in plain words.

What it gives back to you

You get back structured details: planet positions and signs, the Ascendant and houses, the main aspects, and a chart signature. For transits you get a list of what is active now and coming up, plus the Moon phase. For synastry you get scores for harmony, chemistry, communication and growth. Your AI then turns all of that into a written reading in the chat.

Node.js installed on your computer
Your birth date, time and place (time is optional but helps)

Good to know

Birth details are personal, so only share what you are comfortable with; the only thing sent over the internet is the place name you look up.
