FindSaunaPlunge MCP server
by findsaunaplunge · official
Lets your AI look up sauna, cold plunge and contrast-therapy venues in US cities, with prices and temperatures.

This is a helper that connects your AI to FindSaunaPlunge, a directory of sauna, cold plunge and contrast-therapy spots in US cities. Once it is connected, you can just ask your AI things like which cold plunges in Austin cost under 30 dollars, and it will look them up for you. It is handy if you travel, like to try new recovery spots, or are planning a trip and want to know what is nearby.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one new skill or one new connection. This helper connects your AI to FindSaunaPlunge, so when you ask about saunas or cold plunges, the AI can actually look them up on that site instead of guessing. You do not install anything; you just add the address once, and the AI can use it whenever you ask.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI a question about saunas, cold plunges or contrast therapy in a US city. The AI sends that request to this helper, which reads the FindSaunaPlunge list of venues. The helper finds matching places and sends back the details, like the city, the type of spot, any published drop-in price, and any published temperature. Your AI then turns that into a normal answer in the chat. Every temperature and price comes from the venue's own page, and if a venue does not publish something, it is simply left out rather than shown as zero.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Find cold plunge, sauna or contrast-therapy venues in a specific US city
- Filter venues by whether they are drop-in or membership based
- Look up only venues with a published drop-in price under a certain amount
- Get the full record for one venue, including where each fact came from
- See which cities are covered and how many venues each one has
- Check city-level stats like price ranges and temperature ranges
- Check how fresh the data is and when each record was last verified
Try asking your AI
- “Find cold plunge spots in Austin, Texas”
- “Which saunas in Denver have a drop-in price under 40 dollars”
- “Show me contrast therapy venues in Los Angeles”
- “What cities does FindSaunaPlunge cover and how many venues are in each”
What it gives back to you
You get back a short list of venues, each with its name, city, type and any published price or temperature. If you ask about one specific venue, you get its full record, including the source links and quotes behind each fact. City questions come back as counts and ranges, like how many venues are in a city and the lowest and highest published prices. Everything shows up as normal text in your chat, so you can read it or ask follow-up questions.
Before you start
What you need
- An AI app that supports MCP servers, like Claude Code or another MCP-capable client

Good to know
This server only reads public venue data, so it cannot change or delete anything, but prices and temperatures come from the venues' own pages and may be out of date, so double-check before you go.
