Gainium MCP server
by Gainium · official
Lets your AI check and manage your Gainium crypto trading bots, deals and balances for you.

This is a helper made by Gainium, the crypto trading bot platform. It connects your AI assistant to your Gainium account so you can ask about your bots and deals in plain words instead of clicking around the website. It is handy if you already run DCA, Combo or Grid bots on Gainium and want a quicker way to check and adjust them.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app. This one connects your AI to Gainium, so it can look up your bots, deals, balances and market data, and make changes when you ask. You set it up once, and then you just talk to your AI like normal.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something about your Gainium account, like how your bots are doing. Your AI passes that request to this helper. The helper signs in to Gainium with your API keys and asks Gainium for the information or makes the change. Then it hands the answer back to your AI, which explains it to you in the chat. You never have to open the Gainium site yourself for these tasks.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- List your DCA, Combo and Grid bots and see their settings
- Start, stop, archive or restore a bot
- Create, clone or update a bot
- List and inspect your deals, and close one or add funds to it
- Check your balances and connected exchanges
- Run a backtest on a strategy
- Look at the crypto screener for market numbers
Try asking your AI
- “Show me all my active DCA bots and how much profit each one has made”
- “Stop the Grid bot called BTC range and tell me its current deal”
- “What is my USDT balance across all connected exchanges?”
- “Run a backtest for my Combo bot over the last 3 months”
What it gives back to you
You get answers written in the chat, like a list of bots with their names and profit, or a summary of one deal. For actions, it tells you what it changed, for example that a bot was stopped or a deal was closed. Backtests come back as results and numbers you can read in the conversation.
Before you start
What you need
- A Gainium account
- An API key pair from your Gainium API settings page (a kind of username and password for apps, which you create for free on the site)
- An AI assistant that supports MCP servers, like Claude Desktop or VS Code
Good to know
With a write key this can start, stop, change or close real trading bots and deals, so check what your AI is about to do before you say yes, and use a read-only key if you only want to look.
Install it with your AI
Add Gainium MCP server to your AI, no technical skills needed
You don't install anything by hand. You copy one prompt, paste it into an AI that can work on your computer, and it checks, installs and connects the server for you, asking you when it needs something.
Sign in to get the install prompt
Members get a ready-made prompt that lets the Claude desktop app check Gainium MCP server, install it and connect it for them, step by step. You don't need any technical skills: you copy, paste and answer a few questions. Your connected AI can also find and install any of the 4,066 MCP servers here for you.
Who it's for
Gainium users who run crypto trading bots and want to check or adjust them by chatting with their AI instead of using the website.
