AbaPay is a service that pays everyday bills, like phone airtime, mobile data, electricity, cable TV, and school exam PINs, using digital dollars on a blockchain. This MCP server is the piece that lets an AI assistant like Claude do that paying for you through chat. It is handy if you already use AbaPay and want your AI to handle bills without clicking through an app each time.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat. It cannot reach out and do things in other apps. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to AbaPay, so when you ask it to pay a bill, it can actually look up your balance and send the payment for you.

What you need
- An AbaPay account with an API key
- Your AbaPay PIN, which is asked for on every payment
- A wallet that has approved a spending allowance for the agent, on the chain and token you want to use
- An AI client that supports MCP, like Claude
Good to know
This server can move real money from your wallet, so only approve a spending allowance you are comfortable with and keep your AbaPay PIN private.
