Gasolineras MCP server
Ask your AI for the cheapest fuel prices at gas stations in Spain, by town or city.

This is a small helper that lets your AI look up fuel prices at gas stations in Spain. It uses the Spanish government's public data, so the numbers come from an official source, not from guesses. It is handy if you drive in Spain and want to find the cheapest place to fill up near you.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to the Spanish government's public fuel price data. Once it is set up, you can just ask your AI about gas prices and it will go and check for you.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like where the cheapest petrol is in a certain town. Your AI passes that question to this helper program. The helper talks to the Spanish Ministry's public fuel price service and pulls back the list of stations. It sorts them by price so the cheapest ones come first. Then your AI shows you the answer in the chat, in plain words.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Find the cheapest gas station in a Spanish town or city
- Compare fuel prices across several stations in one area
- Look up prices for different fuel types like petrol or diesel
- Check which stations are cheapest before a trip
- Ask for prices in a town by its name, without needing to know any codes
Try asking your AI
- “Where is the cheapest petrol in Teruel?”
- “Show me the diesel prices in Granada, cheapest first”
- “What are the gas prices in Salamanca right now?”
- “Find me the cheapest place to fill up near Zaragoza”
What it gives back to you
You get back a list of gas stations with their prices, sorted from cheapest to most expensive. Your AI usually shows this as a short list or a small table in the chat, with the station name, the price, and sometimes the address. You can then ask follow-up questions, like which one is closest to a certain street.
Before you start
What you need
- A tool that can run MCP servers, like Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, or opencode
- The uv tool installed on your computer (the README shows a one-line command to install it)
Good to know
The prices come from public government data and may not be perfectly up to date, so double-check before you drive somewhere just for a price.
