ParlayAPI MCP server
Lets your AI look up sports odds, player props and prediction-market data, and give you a plain-English bet or pass call.

This is a helper for your AI that connects it to ParlayAPI, a service that gathers sports betting odds and prediction-market data from many bookmakers. Once it is set up, you can just ask your AI about a game, a player or a bet idea, and it will pull the numbers for you. It is handy for anyone who follows sports betting and wants quick, clear answers without opening ten tabs.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an outside service. This one connects your AI to ParlayAPI, so it can look up live odds, player props and market data when you ask. You do not need to understand how it works under the hood. You just talk to your AI like always, and it quietly uses this helper behind the scenes.
What this MCP server does
You ask your AI something like which bookmaker has the best price on a team, or whether a bet looks good. Your AI sends that request to this helper, which talks to ParlayAPI and fetches the current numbers. ParlayAPI pulls odds, props and market data from many sportsbooks and prediction markets. The helper hands the results back to your AI, which turns them into a short answer for you. Some tools also remember which bookmakers you can actually use, so the answers skip the ones you cannot bet at.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Look up game odds for a sport, including moneyline, spreads and totals
- Check player prop odds for a sport
- Find the best price for an outcome across many bookmakers
- Get a plain BET or PASS call on a single bet, with fair price and best book
- Grade a multi-leg parlay and flag the weakest leg and any correlation warnings
- See ranked positive-value plays for a sport, scoped to books you can bet at
- Create a free ParlayAPI account and get an API key without leaving the chat
Try asking your AI
- “What are the current odds for tonight's NBA games?”
- “Find the best price on the Chiefs moneyline across all books.”
- “Should I bet the over on Jokic points tonight? Give me a BET or PASS call.”
- “Grade this three-leg parlay and tell me the weakest leg.”
What it gives back to you
You get back short, readable answers in the chat: odds numbers, best-price picks, a BET or PASS call with a short reason, or a parlay grade with the weakest leg called out. Some tools return lists, like ranked plays or arbitrage candidates, and others return a single number or a link. When you sign up, you get an API key, a claim link for your dashboard and an upgrade link. Everything shows up as normal chat text, so you can read it right away.
Before you start
What you need
- An MCP-compatible AI client, such as the Claude desktop app or Cursor
- Nothing else to start: the signup, pricing, live preview, source-quality and coverage tools work without a key
- A free ParlayAPI key for the paid data tools, which you can create from inside the chat with the signup tool (1,000 credits a month, no card)
Good to know
Some tools can create an account, send a login email or start a checkout, and the paid data tools use up your monthly credits, so approve those actions in your client only when you mean to.
