Lets your AI look up a Solana token's risk score and red flags before you buy.

This is a small helper that lets your AI check a Solana token for warning signs. You give it a token address, and it comes back with a risk score and a list of things to watch out for. It is handy if you follow meme coins and want a second opinion before you spend money.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to Solsniffer, a service that checks Solana tokens for risk. Once it is set up, you can just ask your AI about a token and it will fetch the details for you.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI to look at a Solana token, and you paste in the token address. The AI passes that address to this helper, which asks the Solsniffer service for the token's data. Solsniffer sends back a risk score, price, market cap, supply, and a list of risk items. The AI then reads all of that and explains it to you in plain words in the chat.

What it gives back to you

You get a short summary in the chat with the token name, symbol, and a risk score from 0 to 100. It also shows the price, market cap, and total supply. Then it lists the risks it found, grouped into high, moderate, and low, plus a quick audit status like whether minting and freezing are disabled.

Python 3.10 or higher installed on your computer
A Solsniffer API key (a kind of password for apps; you sign up on the Solsniffer website to get one for free)
An MCP-compatible app like Claude Desktop
