Logimu Shopping MCP server

by ncosic

Lets your AI look up real Amazon and Walmart prices, stock, ratings and product shortlists.

Flow diagram: you ask your AI “Well-rated dehumidifiers under $150”, the Logimu Shopping MCP server connects it to Amazon and Walmart, and you get back A shortlist with prices and ratings.

This is a helper that connects your AI assistant to a big warehouse of shopping data from Amazon (US, UK, DE, CA, AU) and Walmart. Once it is connected, you can ask your AI things like "find me a good coffee maker under $80" and it will come back with real products, real prices and real stock. It is handy for anyone who shops online and wants a straight answer instead of ten open browser tabs.

What is an MCP server? The 30-second version

On its own, your AI can only chat with you. It does not know today's price of anything, and it cannot check what is in stock. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to a service. This one connects your AI to Logimu's shopping data, so when you ask about a product, your AI can look it up there and answer with real numbers.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI a shopping question in normal words, like "well-rated dehumidifiers under $150". Your AI passes that question to this helper. The helper looks through a warehouse of over 17 million tracked products and picks out the ones that match. It sends back a ranked shortlist or a single product snapshot with prices, stock, ratings and recent price changes. Your AI then explains the result to you in the chat.

What you can do with it

  • Find ranked shortlists of products by category or by budget, mid and premium tiers
  • Check the current price, stock and buy-box seller for a specific Amazon item
  • See 30-day price and bestseller-rank history for a product
  • Filter products by price, rating, number of reviews, bestseller rank and shipping type
  • Compare offers from different sellers for the same item
  • Look up products across Amazon US, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia and Walmart US

Try asking your AI

  • “Find me the best coffee maker under $80”
  • “Is ASIN B0BDHQSZCV a good buy right now?”
  • “Well-rated dehumidifiers under $150 with 1,000 or more reviews”
  • “Show me the price history for this item over the last 30 days”

What it gives back to you

You get answers written in the chat, backed by real data. Depending on what you asked, that can be a ranked list of products with prices, ratings and stock, or a single product snapshot with its recent price changes and seller offers. Every record comes with a timestamp showing when the data was observed. You can also see brand information and grouped results by category or price tier.

Before you start

What you need

  • An AI assistant that supports MCP connectors, like Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT in developer mode, Cursor or VS Code
  • Nothing else for the free tier: no signup and no key needed for 30 queries a day
  • An email address only if you want a free API key for more queries

Good to know

The data is observed from a warehouse and timestamped, not a live feed from the retailer, so prices and stock can be slightly behind what you see on the site. Always double-check on Amazon or Walmart before you buy.
