Airbnb MCP server
by openbnb-org
Let your AI search Airbnb listings and pull up details like price, amenities, and house rules.

This is a small helper that lets your AI assistant search Airbnb for you. You ask in normal words, and it goes off, looks at listings, and brings back the useful bits. It is handy if you are planning a trip and want to compare places without clicking through page after page yourself.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you. An MCP server is a little helper program that gives your AI a new skill or a connection to an app or service. This one connects your AI to Airbnb, so it can look up stays and details there when you ask. You do not need to understand how it works under the hood. You just talk to your AI like usual, and it uses this helper behind the scenes.
What this MCP server does
You tell your AI something like find me a place in Lisbon for two people in June. The AI passes that to this helper, which searches Airbnb and reads the results. It can also pull up the full details of one specific listing, like the amenities, house rules, and location. Then it hands everything back to your AI, which writes it up for you in the chat. You get a shortlist or a summary instead of a wall of tabs.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search Airbnb by city, region, or country
- Filter by check-in and check-out dates
- Set how many adults, children, infants, and pets are coming
- Filter by price range per night
- Filter by property type, like entire home or private room
- Get full details for one listing, including amenities and house rules
- Browse more results using paging
Try asking your AI
- “Find me a private room in Copenhagen for two adults from June 10 to June 14, under 150 a night”
- “Show me entire homes in San Francisco for 4 guests next month with a pool”
- “Get the details for this Airbnb listing and tell me if it allows pets”
- “Compare a few Airbnb options in Paris for a family of four in August”
What it gives back to you
You get back a list of listings with names, prices, and links, plus a short summary your AI writes for you. For a single listing, you get the amenities grouped by category, the house rules, the location, and a direct link. It all shows up as normal text in your chat, so you can read it or ask follow-up questions.
