tickadoo MCP server
by tickadoo
Lets your AI search theatre shows, events, tours and experiences worldwide and hand you booking links.

This is a small connector that lets your AI assistant look up theatre shows, live events, tours and experiences on tickadoo, a booking site that covers cities around the world. You ask in normal words, and your AI comes back with options, prices, dates and a link to book. It is handy if you plan trips, nights out, or gifts and want ideas without opening ten browser tabs.
What is an MCP server? The 30-second version
On its own, your AI can only chat with you using what it already knows. An MCP server is a small helper program that gives your AI one extra skill, in this case a connection to tickadoo's public catalogue of shows, events and experiences. Once it is connected, your AI can ask tickadoo for real listings and prices on your behalf and bring the answers back into the chat. You do not need an account or a special key for this one.
What this MCP server does
You type a request like a city, a date, or a kind of show you fancy. Your AI passes that request to this helper, which talks to tickadoo's servers. tickadoo sends back matching experiences with their current prices, available dates and times, and short descriptions. Your AI then lays that out for you in the chat and includes a link so you can finish the booking on tickadoo.com. Nothing is booked automatically; you always click through and pay on the site yourself.
Click to zoomWhat you can do with it
- Search for shows, events and experiences in a city you name
- Compare prices and availability across several options
- Get recommendations for a trip, a date night, or a gift
- Check what is on during specific dates
- Build a rough itinerary of things to do in a city
- Pull a booking link for the experience you pick
Try asking your AI
- “Find me two musicals in London for next Saturday evening under 80 pounds each”
- “What family-friendly things can we do in Barcelona in July?”
- “Show me walking tours in Rome with availability this weekend”
- “I need a birthday gift experience in New York for two people, something unusual”
What it gives back to you
You get a short list of matching experiences, each with a name, a brief description, the price, and the dates or times that are open. Your AI usually adds a sentence or two of its own to help you choose, and a link for each option. If you ask it to compare or plan, it will arrange the results as a small table or a day-by-day list. Nothing changes on your account; it is all read-only until you click through to book.
Before you start
What you need
- An AI app that supports MCP servers, such as the Claude desktop app or Claude Code
- Nothing else. No account or key is needed to search
Good to know
It only reads tickadoo's public catalogue and gives you links, so it cannot book or pay for anything on your behalf, but always double-check prices and dates on tickadoo.com before you buy.
