macalc Calculator MCP server

This is a helper that gives your AI assistant a big box of everyday calculators. You ask a question in plain words, and the AI picks the right calculator and does the maths for you. It is handy if you deal with taxes, salaries, loans, health numbers or unit conversions and you would rather not hunt for a calculator website.

What this MCP server does

You ask your AI something like how much tax you would pay on a salary. Your AI looks at the question and picks the matching calculator from this server. The server does the actual calculation with the right rules and rates. Then your AI shows you the result in the chat, usually with a short breakdown and where the numbers come from. If the calculator you need is not in the main set, your AI can search the bigger catalogue and use it from there.

What it gives back to you

You get the number you asked for, plus usually a short breakdown of how it was worked out. For tax questions you often see the brackets and the effective and marginal rates. For loans you can get the monthly payment, the total interest and a year by year schedule. The answer appears in the chat like a normal reply from your AI, with the figures written out.
