AI's popularity is rising across all ages, but the 44-to-59 age group has shown the biggest growth in usage over the past year. Younger consumers lead in adoption, with 54% of 16 to 27-year-olds and 51% of 28 to 43-year-olds using AI for shopping. In contrast, only 15% of those aged 60 and above currently use AI in this way.
Overall, 66% of UK consumers are aware that retailers might use AI to recommend products, showing growing acceptance of AI-driven personalization.
